Purpose

The Senior Failure Analysis Lab Technician will run and maintain failure analysis (F / A) equipment and provide F / A results in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Run dual-beam FIBs and SEM / X-Ray data collection with complementary surface science analytical tool operations
• Perform detailed sample preparation to enable feature measurements, defect detection and domain-specific failure analysis
• Present results, compile reports and work in a team incorporating feedback from engineers and other technicians
• Develop processes-of-record and implement these on product samples for customers
• Performs other related functions as assigned
