LocumJobsOnline is working with AAS Locum Tenens to find a qualified Trauma Surgery PA in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, 03803!

About The Position

facility in Portsmouth, NH is seeking an experienced Locums Trauma Surgery PA

or NP to provide on-site trauma coverage, perform critical care rounding, and

support trauma and acute care surgical services. First-assist experience is

preferred but not required. This role includes weekday and weekend shifts with

flexible 8-hour and 12-hour options.

Schedule

& Coverage

Monthly Coverage : Up to 8–9

days of on-site trauma coverage / backup coverage

Shift Options :

  • 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM
  • 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM

Coverage : Monday–Friday

with weekend trauma coverage included

Role : Trauma APP

coverage for inpatient rounding

Responsibilities

Perform trauma rounding and

provide inpatient care for trauma patients

Participate in critical care

rounds

First-assist in surgery

(preferred but not required)

Respond to trauma consults as

needed

Manage patient assessments,

orders, documentation, and care coordination

Collaborate with trauma surgeons,

intensivists, and the multidisciplinary care team

Average Daily Census : ~10

trauma / critical care patients

Requirements

  • NH State License : PA or APRN
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • ATLS & ACLS certifications

    required

    Experience in trauma surgery,

    acute care surgery, or critical care strongly preferred

    Portsmouth
