Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Senior Procurement Analyst to join our Procurement Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting business owners in managing the internal procurement process, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and driving process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Analyze and resolve procurement-related issues, including purchase order discrepancies, contract disputes, and supplier performance problems.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business owners, finance, and accounting, to ensure seamless procurement operations and resolve any procurement-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to track procurement performance, including spend analysis, contract compliance, and supplier performance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall procurement experience for business owners and suppliers.
  • Develop and deliver training and support business owners on procurement processes, policies, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including auditing and monitoring procurement activities.
  • Manage and maintain procurement systems, including purchase order management, contract management, and supplier management systems.
  • Own and evolve procurement platforms and systems, ensuring they support orchestration, integration, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities across the procurement lifecycle.
  • Continuously optimize procurement processes by identifying automation opportunities, eliminating bottlenecks, reducing cycle times, and driving measurable cost savings and efficiency gains.
  • Automate procurement operations to reduce manual effort and errors, including purchase order creation, contract validation, approvals, and supplier onboarding, while ensuring alignment with financial and audit controls.
  • Leverage data and AI-driven insights to proactively identify and resolve procurement issues such as purchase order discrepancies, contract non-compliance, and supplier performance risks.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and technologies, including purchase order management, contract management, and supplier management.
  • Experience with procurement systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Certification in procurement, such as CIPS, ISM, or similar professional designations, is an asset.

Nice to Have:
