This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of carrying humans and payloads to various orbits and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, designed to be human-capable from the start.

Blue Origin seeks a Payload Integration Engineer reporting to the Payload Integration Director. You will be the Mission Operations contact with spacecraft customers and manufacturers during launch campaigns, supporting mission analysis, spacecraft launch operations, and documentation. Coordination with various teams during proposal and integration phases is essential. Responsibilities include hardware processing, spacecraft mating and encapsulation, transport, and testing. Your work will directly impact space exploration history and demand your commitment to safety and precision.

Responsibilities :

• Serve as launch site focal point for spacecraft interface requirements evaluation and proposal edits.
• Assist in generating or evaluating payload proposals.
• Assess payload interface requirements and impacts on the launch site.
• Support validation planning for payloads.
• Implement upgrades supporting various spacecraft requirements, including crewed systems.
• Work with Mission Management to generate proposals and verification plans.
• Act as the primary contact for launch site and spacecraft processing activities.
• Manage spacecraft processing schedules.
• Monitor launch countdown systems supporting spacecraft.
• Host customer visits and technical meetings, representing Launch Operations.
• Lead technicians in payload processing in cleanroom environments.
• Assist with hardware assembly, integration, and testing.
