Objective

The Video Producer leads the vision, strategy, and execution of video storytelling at Resonate Church. This role is responsible for uncovering, capturing, and producing stories that highlight God’s work in people’s lives and through the ministry of Resonate. From weekly deliverables to major projects and campaigns, the Video Producer ensures every piece of video content reflects the mission, culture, and values of our church.

Working closely with the Marketing Director, the Video Producer shapes how Resonate communicates across campuses and digital platforms. This role manages projects from start to finish, developing concepts, directing shoots, leading post‑production, and guiding volunteers or contractors, while continually innovating and elevating the church’s video presence.

Responsibilities

Storytelling & Strategy

• Discover, develop, and produce compelling stories of life change and God’s work at Resonate
• Create a video strategy that supports church growth, discipleship, and gospel impact across the Bay Area and beyond
• Shape the visual style and narrative approach of Resonate’s video content, ensuring consistency with brand and mission

Content Creation & Production

• Produce videos for ministries, services, events, and campaigns across multiple campuses, and Resonate‑partnered events
• Capture and edit sermon clips for weekly posting
• Create sermon bumpers, title packages, and other motion graphics to enhance engagement and visual excellence
• Generate and edit content for YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms in collaboration with the Social Media Manager
• Direct shoots and own video projects from concept through delivery

Digital & Platform Integration

• Collaborate with the Social Media Manager on YouTube strategy, including livestreams, shorts, thumbnails, and optimization
• Ensure timely posting and alignment of content across platforms
• Explore emerging media formats and leverage editing tools to maximize reach and impact
• Equip and empower the Media serve staff team with skills, training, and clear direction
• Collaborate with contractors and freelancers, providing creative oversight and feedback
• Manage timelines, schedules, and resources for video projects, balancing weekly deliverables with long‑term initiatives

Creative & Ministry Collaboration

• Partner with ministry leaders to capture stories and highlight key events
• Contribute to creative planning for sermon series, campaigns, and special projects
• Ensure all video content reflects Resonate’s voice, values, and commitment to gospel‑centered excellence

Qualifications

• Someone submitted to God and the authority of His Word and models a commitment to developing the character of Christ
• Has an unyielding passion for reaching people in a lost and broken world
• High competency of videography, video production, video editing, and storytelling
• Self‑Starter: Has a continued pursuit of excellence without being told what to do

TIME REQUIREMENTS: Sunday to Thursday, some weekends
