Automotive Detail Shop Manager - $-k / yr.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities :

• Oversee the daily operations of a 7-bay detail shop.
• Perform daily opening and closing duties.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and manage detail shop staff, including detailers and car runners, while handling discipline when necessary.
• Effectively coordinate and assign work tasks.
• Inspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet high-quality standards.
• Manage relationships with vendors to ensure the shop is fully stocked with necessary supplies and materials.
• Provide driving, detailing, and additional services as required.
• Lead and supervise the detailing team to deliver exceptional service.
• Use expertise in car wash, detailing, and buffing to train and guide team members.
• Plan and coordinate schedules and workflow to meet customer demands efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and building operations are properly maintained.
• Apply strong management skills to optimize operations and achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate with the Hyundai Service Director to address staffing, process, or operational concerns.
• Perform other duties as needed.
