Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking three Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst positions to support the IBCS Hardware and Software Business Areas. The positions are for either a Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst or Sr Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst dependent upon candidate qualifications. These positions are within the Business Management organization supporting the GC2S Business Unit in Huntsville, Alabama. The analysts will interact with various business area staff to solve reporting program issues and meet reporting requirements for the program. The analysts will interface with program managers, functional management, control account managers (CAMs) and business managers to provide financial support and analysis.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- EVMS Lead / Focal Point for assigned Business Area
- Sets up cost control system, monitors, and controls costs / schedules for contracts requiring Earned Value Management (EVMS)
- Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
- Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled
- Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government
- Preparing CFSR reports
- Preparing external IPMDAR (Integrated Program Management Data & Analysis Report) EVMS reporting for the IBCS Software Business Area
- Incorporates contractual changes into the control system by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines to include assisting in the development of planning directives
- Interfaces with Control Account Managers (CAMs)
- Guides CAMs with EVMS activities to include time-phasing of budgets and forecast; determining the appropriate earned value methodology and performance measurement; estimate to complete analysis and updates, variance analysis research and reporting, EVM trip wire review and analysis, coordinating the completion of monthly EVM artifacts
- Builds partnerships with program personnel to support program execution while maintaining compliant EVMS implementation in accordance with the EVMS System Description
- Works closely with Global Supply Chain and / or Huntsville Manufacturing (EPIC) in the development and maintenance of the cost / schedule baseline and forecasts for material and production labor (Applicable to Hardware Business Area)
- Performs and / or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, cash forecasting, variance analysis, and quarterly financial EACs
- Assists in preparing for internal and external audits

Basic Qualifications for Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (Level 3)
Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearanceHigh school diploma or GED with a minimum of 9 years of business, finance, and / or program control experienceOr Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of business, finance, and / or program control experienceOR Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of business, finance, and / or program control experienceStrong computer skills with intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (i.e. working with pivot tables and vlookups)Must be able to work onsite in Huntsville, ALPrior experience in preparing IPMR CDRLs (Formats 1-7), CSDR Reporting, IPMDAR, and CFSRBasic Qualifications for Sr Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (Level 4)

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
