ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a full-time, non-exempt Legal Practice Assistant – Litigation role supporting a high-level Trial and Litigation Group in Los Angeles. The position provides comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys handling complex, high-profile matters in both state and federal courts.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives under pressure while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and strong client service. This role reports to firm administration and has no direct reports.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents, including pleadings, correspondence, memoranda, and reports

Formatting and filing documents in California state and federal courts (electronic and in-person)

Preparing Tables of Authorities (TOAs) and Tables of Contents (TOCs)

Managing attorney calendars and deadlines using legal calendaring systems (., CompuLaw)

Coordinating closely with attorneys, staff, and peers to ensure compliance with best practices

Maintaining composure, accuracy, and efficiency during high-volume and deadline-driven work

Supporting litigation matters from initial pleadings through discovery, motions, trial, and appeal

Utilizing legal technology and document management systems efficiently

Providing professional, courteous communication with clients and internal teams
