Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma - $1,942 per week in Fredericksburg, VA

The unit typically has 14 beds, including 6 observation beds and 5 fast track assessment beds. Staffing varies based on mid-shift coverage. The day shift consists of 1 Charge Nurse, 4 RNs, 1 Medic, and 1 Tech / Unit Coordinator. The night shift has the same staffing structure. Patient ratios are generally 4 : 1, extending up to 6 : 1 during peak times. Equipment used includes monitors, pumps, dynamaps, EKGs, rapid infusers, and ultrasound machines. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech 5.6. Candidates must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ideal applicants should be familiar with emergency department procedures. The role requires working every other weekend. There is no on-call requirement.
