Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in California is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support Kindergarten and 1st grade students in a Special Day Class (SDC) setting. This direct hire position offers an opportunity to work closely with young learners requiring tailored instruction and individualized support for the remainder of the uping school year.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver effective instruction to a caseload of Kindergarten and 1st grade students within an SDC classroom.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) ensuring alignment with students unique needs.
• Adapt and modify curriculum content to acmodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to foster a cohesive learning environment.
• Provide academic, social, and emotional support tailored to each student.
• Ensure pliance with all relevant federal and state special education laws and regulations.
