Join our dedicated team at Albany Medical Center, where you will provide essential healthcare support under the supervision of an attending physician, RN, Lead LPN, or practice coordinator. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in delivering direct patient care and assisting in clinical functions across our urology department.
Key Responsibilities :
- Measure and accurately record vital signs of patients.
- Document key components of patient histories.
- Communicate openly and effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
- Assist in in-office procedures under licensed healthcare supervision.
- Conduct diagnostic CLIA waived testing.
- Perform venipuncture for laboratory blood tests.
- Handle prescription call-backs within your scope of practice.
- Prepare patient charts with relevant clinical information.
- Manage supply inventory and maintain examination rooms.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma / G.E.D. - requiredExperience in a patient care environment - preferredStrong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to effectively present information and respond to queries from patients, families, and colleagues.LPN - State Licensure upon Hire - requiredPhysical Demands :
