Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Americus, GA 31719 (Georgia nursing jobs)

Facility : 54-bed hospital with LDRP and Level 2 NICU

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse contract

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : March 16, 2026

Duration : 17 weeks

Shift : 12-hour day shifts (6 : 45am start)

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Holiday Requirement : Rotates with permanent staff

Travel Assignment : Must reside at least 100 miles from facility

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1840–$1980

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Registered Nurse)

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

At least 1 prior travel nursing contract

Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (EFM)

Ability to circulate for C-sections

Experience with Level 2 NICU preferred

Valid driver's license showing residence at least 100 miles from facility

L&D RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns in LDRP and Level 2 NICU settings

Circulate for C-sections and assist with labor and delivery procedures

Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using FHM systems (WatchChild / OBIX)

Collaborate with charge nurses, OB techs, and multidisciplinary healthcare team

Float to NICU as needed (if experienced)

Document patient care in Meditech EMR

Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training

Maintain compliance with ACOG guidelines and hospital protocols
