Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with Epic proficiency and ARRT or ARMRIT certification for a day shift contract.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position based in a pediatric hospital setting on the MRI Tech unit
  • Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 8 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM
  • Call rotation required
  • Weekend shifts rotate among staff weekly
  • MRI procedures for pediatric patients
  • Uses Epic for electronic medical records
  • Must wear scrubs of any color
  • Pre-assignment modules required, typically completed in 2-4 hours
  • Teamwork and participation in rotating call and weekend coverage expected
  • Strict policy on excessive requested time off
  • Candidates must provide professional reference from a supervisor dated within the past 12 months

  • Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • ARRT (R), ARRT (MR), or ARMRIT certification required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Valid Louisiana license required if applicable
  • First-time travelers are not accepted
  • Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for traveler status
  • Permanent employees from LCMC facilities must be gone for at least 1 year to be eligible
