POSITION SUMMARY : The Client Manager is a client-facing role responsible for the day-to-day servicing of mid-to-large commercial accounts. This includes marketing insurance programs, ensuring timely renewals, and providing consultative guidance on coverage and exposure changes. The Client Manager partners with Advisors and Client Executives to develop strategic insurance solutions and oversee policy servicing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop and maintain proactive communication with clients, advisors, internal teams, and insurance underwriters. Serve as the primary contact for general insurance questions and service needs.
- Participate in and recommend marketing strategies for new and existing clients. Take primary responsibility for marketing accounts, including :
Market selection
Gathering and organizing updated client and underwriting informationPreparing submissionsFollowing up with underwriters for quotationsComparing and negotiating quotations for coverage, terms, limits, and pricing to secure the best options for clientsConsulting with advisors and Client Executives on program recommendationsPreparing and presenting program proposalsIssuing binding instructions to carriersFollowing up on subjectivities, completing surplus lines affidavits, issuing binders, and invoicingEnsure policies are issued correctly by comparing them to submissions, quotations, and proposals.Participate in periodic coverage and risk reviews to ensure the adequacy of clients' program designs.Execute tasks on Stewardship Accounts as assigned.Develop new lines of coverage at every opportunity.Share responsibility with advisors internal teams for collecting all account receivables in accordance with CCIG's Premium Collection Policy.Maintain data integrity in Epic and attach all correspondence as required by department procedures.Additional duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS :
A four-year college degree preferred, or equivalent years of industry experience in a similar positionPossession and maintenance of Property and Casualty Insurance license for the State of ColoradoProfessional designation in insurance programs such as ARM, CIC, CPCU, CRM preferredProactive participation in continuing education classes3-5 years of commercial insurance experience in client service, account management, or a related role.Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.Ability to analyze coverage, policy terms, and market trends.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Detail-oriented with strong time management and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY : This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
COMPENSATION INFORMATION :
Pay Range : $61,000 - $105,000 (dependent on experience and / or qualifications)Total Compensation = Pay + Performance Bonus + BenefitsPHYSICAL DEMANDS : This position primarily operates in a professional office environment. The employee is regularly required to sit or stand for extended periods, use hands to operate a computer, keyboard and other office equipment. The role requires clear verbal and written communication, including use of the telephone, email, and other collaboration tools. Periodic standing, walking, and light lifting or carrying of materials (generally up to 10 pounds) may be required.
