JOB PURPOSE
The Supportive Services Manager leads and enhances The Just One Project's supportive services programs, specifically BETterment, Youth, and Workforce Readiness. This position ensures these programs are effectively designed, implemented, and evaluated to achieve meaningful client outcomes. By supervising staff, monitoring performance, fostering community partnerships, and ensuring compliance with funding requirements, the Supportive Services Manager drives program growth, operational efficiency, and service excellence to empower clients toward long-term self-sufficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
General Program Management
- Supervise, mentor, and support Case Managers in the Youth and BETterment programs.
- Oversee program compliance, documentation, reporting, and performance outcomes.
- Monitor data, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to SOPs and best practices.
- Manage program budgets and coordinate with Finance and Grants on funding requirements.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture through coaching, evaluations, and training.
- Build and sustain partnerships to enhance service delivery across all programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Workforce Readiness
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of workforce development programming.Maintain a caseload of workforce clients and provide individualized career development plans.Build and maintain partnerships with employers, training providers, and workforce development agencies.Track workforce metrics, evaluate outcomes, and align services with industry needs.Develop and facilitate workshops, trainings, and job readiness activities.Youth Case Management
Supervise the Youth Case Manager and oversee program delivery and outcomes.Support case planning and resource coordination for youth clients.Build and maintain partnerships with schools, youth-serving agencies, and mental health providers.Review youth program data, case notes, and progress toward goals.BETterment Case Management
Supervise the BETterment Case Manager and oversee program delivery and outcomes.Support case planning, barrier removal, and crisis intervention strategies.Ensure integration of financial literacy, life skills, and wraparound supports into service plans.Review BETterment program data, case notes, and client progress toward stabilization.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Administration, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.3+ years of nonprofit experience.3+ years of experience in program or case management within social services, workforce development, or youth services.3+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, overseeing staff and program operations.Experience working with vulnerable populations, including youth or individuals experiencing food insecurity or financial instabilityDemonstrated experience managing program budgets, compliance requirements, and grant reportingProficiency in data management systems such as Salesforce preferredStrong background in developing community partnerships and collaborative initiativesKnowledge of federal, state, and local social service policies and best practicesKEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

This is a full-time, exempt position, requiring approximately 40 hours per weekOccasional evenings or weekends may be required for events or program deliveryThis role qualifies as Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) due to administrative duties, including supervision of staff and independent decision-makingADDITIONAL INFORMATION
