Underwriter III - Non-Delegated Mortgage (Non-Agency Lending)

What you'll do :

As a Mortgage Underwriter III, you will be responsible for underwriting Non-Agency loans-including Bank Statement, Jumbo, and DSCR programs-by evaluating credit, capacity, and collateral to ensure compliance with company and investor quality standards. You will also review and clear underwriting conditions in accordance with current guidelines and overlays, with a primary focus on non-agency lending products.

• Manage daily pipeline by completing Non-Agency and Conventional loans, Underwriting Reviews, Conditions Reviews, and other underwriting tasks within established turn times.
• Identify documentation deficiencies and request additional information from clients as needed.
• Navigate and interpret Non-Agency and Conventional guidelines, including company-specific overlays.
• Collaborate with internal departments to interpret underwriting guidelines, update loan status, and complete assigned tasks.
• Communicate directly with clients to provide updates and clarify outstanding conditions or deficiencies.
• Respond to client-initiated scenario questions and provide live assistance with loan structuring and solution-based guidance.

What you'll need :

Compensation : Hourly range for new hires is generally $56.00 for Nevada. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.
