A company is looking for a Country Officer in Senegal.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement country workplans to achieve policy, transparency, and government action outcomes
Engage with stakeholders to promote transparency and facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions
Monitor and report on relevant political developments and collaborate with teams to draft policy recommendations
Required Qualifications
A relevant University degree in natural resource management, policy, economics, or equivalent
At least five years of professional experience in public policy, public affairs, or political advocacy
Strong understanding of Senegal's political and regulatory processes related to fisheries and biodiversity
Native French speaker with proficiency in English
Experience in drafting policy documents and engaging with government stakeholders on fisheries or biodiversity issues
