Travel Occupational Therapist - School (OT) - $2,286 per week in Clovis, NM

Shift : School days and School hours (M / T / W / Th / F and approximately 8 am-3 : 30 pm) Job Description : We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in a school-based setting. The OT will support students in developing the functional skills needed for academic success and daily school routines. This role is vital in promoting independence, participation, and engagement in the educational environment. Responsibilities : Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and self-care needs. Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and other specialists. Provide individualized and group therapy sessions to address identified needs and goals. Support students in improving handwriting, classroom tool use, motor planning, and sensory regulation. Recommend and implement classroom modifications, adaptive equipment, and strategies to support participation. Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as needed. Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities. Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional insights to support student growth and learning. Educate parents and school personnel about occupational therapy goals and strategies. Qualifications : Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Active state license or certification to practice as an Occupational Therapist (OTR / L). NBCOT Certification (required). Experience working with children or in a school-based setting (preferred). Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Understanding of pediatric development and school-based intervention models.
