We are seeking a Senior Security Monitoring Agent for the overnight shift in our 24 / 7 Security Monitoring Center in the Tech Center. Position Summary
The Senior Security Monitoring Agent (SSMA) provides live surveillance of Empyreal facilities and vehicles. This includes ensuring that facility and vehicle communications, tracking, monitoring, and access systems are operational, online, and properly maintained. The SSMA monitors, documents, and identifies all suspicious activity, including monitoring the patterns of people in and around Empyreal facilities and vehicles. They also provide mentorship and coaching to Security Monitoring Agents (SMAs) during the shift, train new SMAs, and act as Shift Lead Relief when the Security Shift Lead is not on duty. (Typically 2 full shifts per week.)
Responsibilities and Duties include, but not limited to :
Training / Coaching
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new Security Operations Center staff
- Ensure that Empyreal standards regarding quality and productivity are upheld.
- Actively mentor and coach SMAs to be more efficient and competent
Branch Access / Security
Verify & provide remote access to Empyreal facilities for employees & authorized visitorsRespond to security system support requests from branch staffGenerate Cencon codes for branch vaultsVehicle Security & Support
Provide remote assistance to Empyreal driversVerify that all security systems in the vehicle are functioning properlyRealtime Surveillance
Constantly observe and provide remote Realtime surveillance of Empyreal facilities and vehiclesUtilize existing GPS systems to track and provide real-time geolocation of Empyreal vehicles and assetsRespond appropriately to events by evaluating the situation(s) observed by the cameras.Prioritize critical and non-critical events such as access control, safety breaches, intrusion detection, protocol abnormalities, etc.Assist SMAs in prioritizing critical incidents & escalate to Shift Lead per protocol.Documentation
Collect and document surveillance evidence.Complete necessary incident-related documentation.Document & bookmark incidents and injuries - noting surrounding circumstancesSearch, access, transfer and archive facility and vehicle footage as requested.Leadership / Shift Lead Relief
Oversee the Security Operations Center (SOC) for the shift and provide necessary support to the teamLead incident command & coordinate with local authorities per protocol on all incidents during the shiftQualifications :
Knowledge of security architecture, security policies and procedures, intrusion detection, vulnerability management, and best practices requiredKnowledge of CCTV and Access control systems is required .Proficiency with Microsoft windows-based hardware and software, Google Android based mobile devices, GPS tracking systems, facility security access systems, security access systems, and other security devices, equipment, and peripherals is required .The ability to communicate effectively with internal customers, clients, vendors, and service providers is required .Must have excellent observation skills and attention to detail.Excellent information retention and recall required .Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Ability to work under pressure dictated by event schedules and project timetablesAbility to read, understand and interpret written and verbal instructions and reports.Working Conditions
