Supplier Quality Engineer

Arcosa Marine Products is searching for a Supplier Quality Engineer based in our Ashland City , Barge Plant .

The Supplier Quality Engineer , reporting to the Quality Director, will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of products and materials sourced from suppliers. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring supplier compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supplier management, quality control, and process optimization.

Arcosa Marine Products, a leading manufacturer of inland barges, manufactures dry cargo barges, including flat-deck and hopper barges, that are used to transport a variety of products including grain, coal, and aggregates. Arcosa Marine Products also manufactures tank barges that carry petroleum, fertilizer, ethanol, chemicals, and other liquid cargoes. It is the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers used primarily on grain barges. Additionally, Arcosa Marine Products provides a full line of deck hardware to the marine industry, including hatches, castings, and winches for towboats and dock facilities.

What Youll Do

Supplier Quality Management

• Establish and manage supplier quality performance metrics and develop supplier scorecards.
• Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and evaluations to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and resolve quality issues related to suppliers and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to drive improvements in quality and performance.
