Job Summary

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is seeking a Pediatric Physician Assistant in our Level IV   Neonatal Intensive Care Unit  to join our team.

Highlights :

• You will join a team of 8 Physicians, 2 Nurse Practitioners.
• The APP serves multiple roles .
• On weekends (7 : 30A to 4 : 30P) the APP will be the frontline provider for 8 patients.  They will be expected to examine their patients, write a progress note, present a plan on rounds and follow up with the care plan in the afternoon
• On night shifts (4 : 40P to 7 : 30A) the APP will be on call with the attending neonatologist and pediatric resident.
• Procedures expected to perform : Intubation, arterial blood draws, venous blood draws, UVC / UAC placement , IV placement, PICC placement
