What Youll Do Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including both the business interior and its perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence. Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activity, documenting incidents according to company and client procedures. Maintain awareness of the environment and communicate any concerns to appropriate personnel or law enforcement as needed. Support the enforcement of site rules and regulations while interacting professionally with staff, visitors, and / or customers. Remain alert and prepared to address security-related incidents or emergencies, following post orders and instructions from Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements Candidates must have a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years of Armed security-related experience. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Level III armed certification is required for roles in Texas only. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
