We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that all work meets safety and quality standards.

• Duties
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, brake service, and tire rotations.
• Diagnose automotive issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Work on various automotive systems, including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and alignment.
• Utilize schematics to troubleshoot complex problems effectively.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues before they become serious problems.
• Maintain accurate records of all services performed and parts used.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle's needs and repair options.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and diesel engine repair techniques.
• Requirements
• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician in a dealership environment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, including the ability to interpret diagnostic codes and schematics.
• Familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus; experience with auto estimating is also beneficial.
• Ability to perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Strong communication skills to provide clear explanations of repairs to customers.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $18.00 - $26.50 per hour

Expected hours : 35 – 50 per week
