Key Responsibilities
Contract Lifecycle Management : Lead the procurement process for IT goods and services, including developing solicitations, negotiating terms, and managing vendor relationships.Negotiation & Review : Utilize strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions for IT agreements, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.Contract Expertise : Apply strong knowledge of IT contract types (SaaS, IaaS, software licenses, maintenance / support agreements) to accurately structure and review complex documents.Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all procurement activities and contracts adhere strictly to state or federal procurement regulations and processes.Collaboration : Work closely with technical teams, legal counsel, and business stakeholders to translate technical requirements into legally sound and effective contracts.Risk Mitigation (Desired) : Incorporate knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy considerations into contract language to mitigate organizational risk.Required Qualifications
