Head of AI Enablement & Automation
Full time role in Newton MA or Orlando FL (onsite 4 days a week)
Overview
We’re looking for a forward-thinking leader to guide our artificial intelligence and automation efforts across a diverse real estate portfolio. In this role, you’ll work to design and deploy AI-driven solutions that streamline operations, improve insights, and fuel growth across the organization.
You’ll be responsible for shaping our AI strategy, overseeing the development of intelligent automation tools, and integrating them into enterprise platforms. Acting as the link between technology teams and business units, you’ll champion AI adoption, build trust with stakeholders, and ensure ethical, compliant use of these technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and lead an enterprise-wide AI and automation strategy aligned with business goals.
- Identify, prioritize, and deliver high-value AI use cases across all real estate asset types.
- Establish governance frameworks, ethical standards, and compliance guidelines for AI use.
- Partner with senior leadership to incorporate AI into long-term business planning.
- Track AI performance, ensuring fairness, transparency, and measurable business impact.
AI Development & Integration
Lead the design, build, and deployment of AI agents and machine learning models.Integrate AI tools into enterprise platforms with seamless connectivity.Maintain scalable infrastructure, data pipelines, and enterprise data platforms.Ensure systems meet data quality, security, and compliance standards.Define best practices for AI model training, optimization, and ongoing improvement.Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the bridge between technical and business teams.Promote AI adoption by educating, training, and addressing stakeholder concerns.Oversee change management and ensure smooth transitions to AI-enabled workflows.Collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk teams on ethical and regulatory matters.Team Leadership
Build and mentor a high-performing team of AI engineers, data scientists, and automation experts.Attract top AI and automation talent and design professional growth opportunities.Foster an innovative, learning-focused culture grounded in responsible AI practices.Qualifications
Education : Degree in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field required; MBA or real estate / finance background is a plus.Experience : 8–10 years in leadership roles, including 5+ years managing technical teams and enterprise AI programs. Real estate or asset management experience preferred.Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge of generative AI, machine learning, NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Skilled in Python, R, SQL, and enterprise system integration.Industry Knowledge : Understanding of real estate operations, financial analysis, property valuation, and key platforms (Yardi, Argus, VTS, Funnel CRM).Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive change, and communicate complex AI concepts clearly. Strong strategic and project management skills.
