MRO Buyer and Inventory Control Specialist

Arcadia Beverage is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented MRO Buyer and Inventory Control Specialist to support our continued growth, new mixing initiatives, and onboarding of exciting new customer partnerships in 2026. This role is critical to ensure our equipment and maintenance systems are running efficiently and reliably as we expand our production capabilities. The MRO Buyer and Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for all MRO purchasing, supporting capital project planning and execution, and working cross-functionally to drive uptime, safety, and quality in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment. What You’ll Do:

• Purchase materials for maintenance and engineering
• Obtain quotes, write purchase orders and get the appropriate approval to purchase necessary parts, tools, and materials to support maintenance activities and ensure equipment uptime and reliability
• Review purchase orders and reconcile CMMS purchase orders with the ERP system
• Approve invoices for payment within the ERP system
• Confirm procurement status on all items and update the status in the CMMS
• Resolve any issues with purchase orders in a timely manner communicating issues with accounting and maintenance leadership
• Procure parts from vendors with the best price and availability to improve overall financial performance.
• Establish minimum/maximums for reorder points of all inventory parts, especially common and frequently used parts essential to maintain equipment and long lead time parts to obtain 0% parts outage.
• Build strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service suppliers to optimize cost and service.
• Maintain a running report of expenditures to compare with the budget each period
• Reconcile all invoices against POs and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner not to exceed 5 business days.
• Receive parts and place into inventory or WIP area for WO completion
• Ship any parts/assemblies out for repair, or return defective or incorrect items
• Conduct random cycle counts of inventory weekly. Review count sheets of inventoried items for verification before any adjustments are made to CMMS inventory.
• Maintain a clean and organized parts room at all times.
• Complete any and all tasks assigned by Leadership
• Monday - Friday work schedule, with possibility of working weekends depending on special projects
• This position will involve both hands-on inventory work, including putting inventory away in the plant, as well as administrative responsibilities.

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a manufacturing or food/beverage production environment—beverage industry preferred.
• Strong planning, time management, problem solving, and communication skills with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, growing operation.
• Proven experience working with CMMS systems to schedule and track maintenance activities.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to understand mixing, blending, and filling systems (previous experience as a maintenance technician or supervisor is preferred)
• Team player with excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments.
• Eagerness to support growth-oriented projects and contribute to long-term strategic improvements.
