Job Details

  • Travel ICU RN position at Carlsbad Medical Center, part of Community Health Systems.
  • Start date : ASAP.
  • Duration : 13 weeks.
  • Shift : Nights, 6 : 30 PM to 6 : 30 AM, floating required.
  • Responsibilities include ICU patient total care, ventilators, titratable drips, mixing medications, patient hygiene.
  • Floating to Emergency Room (ER) and Medical-Surgical (MS) departments required.
  • Experience with vents, titratable drips, mixing medications, and patient hygiene preferred.

    • Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years ICU experience required.
  • Experience in Emergency Room (ER) and Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) departments required.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred.

    • Schedule Information

  • Night shift from 6 : 30 PM to 6 : 30 AM.
  • Floating to ER and Medical-Surgical departments required.
  • Holidays required.
  • No call required.
  • Blocked scheduling may be accommodated if included in submittal.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • ICU unit with 12 beds.
  • Patient ratio 1 : 2-3.
  • Scope of role includes ventilators, titratable drips, and hygiene care.

    • Additional Details

  • Number of beds in unit : 12.
  • Patient ratio : 1 : 2-3.
  • EMR system used : MedHost.
  • Scrub color : Any.
  • Fingerprinting required for all New Mexico travelers.
