We are the world's largest bedding provider, renowned for our innovative mattresses, adjustable bases, pillows, and relaxation products. As we continue to grow, we're excited to invite applications for the role of CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to work within a 45-minute radius of Albany, NY.

  • $2,500 after 90 days

Job Details :

  • Routes typically cover around 2000 miles per week.
  • Work hours generally span from 10-14 hours per day.
  • Overtime pay applicable for mileage, stops, inspections, delays, and holidays.
  • Eligibility for union benefits starts after 60 days.

    • Your Work Schedule :

  • Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed.
  • Start times typically between 3 : 00 AM and 5 : 00 AM.
  • Routes include deliveries in PA, NY, CT, ME, NH, NJ, VT.
  • Make 3-6 stops per day based on your route.
  • Some layovers expected; typically 0-3 per week.
  • Occasional deliveries in NYC boroughs (box truck only).
  • Involves dock deliveries with driver assist to unload mattresses.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Deliver and unload mattresses to various locations, including warehouses and retail outlets.
  • Safely drive CDL trucks to designated spots along your route.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all delivery points.
  • Conduct routine checks on vehicle maintenance and report issues.

    • Requirements :

  • Minimum of 12 months of CDL A tractor-trailer experience.
  • Previous experience with touch freight is essential.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with air brakes endorsement.
  • Current DOT Medical Card and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • In excellent physical condition to handle physical tasks.
  • Capable of working in various environments and conditions.
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 75 pounds without assistance.
