Job Summary Audio / Video Programmer

We are looking for a experienced audio / video programmer who must have Q-SYS experience for a company in the Ft Myers area.

The Low Voltage Programmer is responsible for programming, configuring, testing, and maintaining low voltage systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications. This includes ensuring the systems function as designed and providing customer support as needed. The role involves collaboration with engineers, installers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications
• PA systems, AV control systems, and multimedia systems
• Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management
• Delivering a high level of customer service
• Creative thinking and problem solving to explore new technology, processes, and approaches
• Licenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements :
• Regular physical attendance required
• Valid Florida Drivers License
• Foundations of Creston Programming
• Write and modify programming code for AV control systems
• Licenses, Registration, Certifications, or Special Requirements :
• Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)
• Creston Certified Programmer
• CompTIA Network+ Certification
• Certified Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA)
• Lift, carry, push, pull, install or remove objects weighing 20 to 49 pounds
• Lift, carry, push, pull, install or remove objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds
• Reach and grasp objects
• Use of video display terminal
• Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills
• Communicate information orally and in writing

Qualifications :

Must have Q-SYS experience

Low Voltage Experience

Programmer

High school diploma or equivalent (required); an associate or bachelor's degree in electronics, computer science, or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience in low voltage system programming, installation, or a similar role.

Proficiency in programming platforms and tools (e.g., Crestron, AMX, Lutron, etc.).

Knowledge of network configuration, including IP addressing and communication protocols.

Position Type : Full Time / Temp to Perm

Pay : $25.00-$26.00

Schedule : 8am-5pm Work a fluctuating work schedule
