The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate various tasks associated with the daily operations of the Chamber building and grounds. The coordinator will : Part-time, 4 or 5 weekdays Full benefits : 401(k) company matching, medical, dental, vision, life
Responsibilities :
Provide cost estimates, scope of work, time frame, warranties, etc. and furnish progress reports
Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, break / fix service requests, reports, etc. for building, grounds, and parking lot
Coordinate landscaping and appearance of grounds
Manage within the context of the annual budget
Communicate clearly with vendors / contractors and internal customers
Provide back-up to front office coordinator when needed
Monitor and ensure all meeting spaces are functional, visible, and being utilized for intended purpose
Coordinate office layouts and relocations as necessary and directed by General Manager
Participate as a member of the Chamber?s Safety and Emergency Response team
schedule contractors for on-site maintenance, repairs, inspections, and projects
follow up to ensure the work was completed and performed to satisfaction
ensure facility meets safety and regulatory standards for office workers
submit and process invoices and purchase orders on a regular basis
assist with preparation of the annual building and facilities budget and plan
provide input to the General Manager and coordinate with the custodian, front office coordinator, and Vice President of IT
This role may also have responsibilities related to meeting room management, event coordination, parking, landscaping, and space planning.
Education Requirements :
High School or GED
Desired Background / Skills :
Associate degree in Business or Construction
Two years? experience in related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to perform light maintenance and landscaping tasks
Fluent in Spanish
Qualifications :
Previous experience working in a facility service environment
Ability to prioritize and to complete tasks in a timely manner
Great communication skills
Works with a 'team' attitude
Works on site during business hours
Fluent in English
