Certified Occupational Terapist Assistant

The Center for Living and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our full-time rehab team. Key Responsibilities :

Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans.

Provide direct care and therapeutic interventions to residents in accordance with OT goals.

Accurately document services using Net Health EMR system.

Monitor resident progress and communicate observations to the OT.

Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise programs and assistive techniques.

Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team.

Qualifications :

Current Vermont license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – required.

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

Previous experience in a skilled nursing, rehab, or long-term care setting preferred.

Familiarity with Net Health or similar EMR systems.

Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
