LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Greenville, South Carolina, 29607!

About The Position

📌 Position Description

A free-standing cancer center in South Carolina is seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist / Oncologist for locum coverage starting November 1, 2025 , with potential to transition to permanent placement. The role includes both outpatient and inpatient oncology care , managing a primarily benign hematology patient population with some malignant oncology.

Practice Highlights :

Start Date : November 1, 2025
Setting : Free-standing cancer center + inpatient oncology (hospital rounding)

Patient Volume :

Outpatient : ~25 patients / day

Inpatient (hospital / call) : ~20 patients / day

Call :

No call during locum coverage

If converted to perm, 1 week every 6–8 weeks

Team : 7 Physicians

6 Advanced Practice Providers

Duties Include : Tumor Board participation, management of bone marrow transplants, blood bank, test and imaging orders, chemotherapy prescribing

Job Requirements

Board Certification in Hematology & Oncology – Required

Active South Carolina Medical License – Required (or willingness to obtain)

BLS Certification – Required

DEA License – Required
