Job description

Hattie Larlham is looking for caring and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) who want to be part of a mission based on Comfort, Joy, and Achievement for adults and children with intellectual / developmental disabilities.

Opening :

  • Registered Nurse (RN) Pediatric to Adult
  • Schedule :   Full-Time, 12-hr shifts, Nights, every other weekend and holiday required.
  • Location :  Nestled in northern Portage County, between Cleveland and Akron, is the Hattie Larlham Center for Children with Disabilities, a long-term intermediate care facility that provides medical services for 124 children and adults with intellectual / developmental disabilities.

What You’ll Do :

  • Utilize, maintain and grow your nursing skills!
  • Provide autonomous care to adults and children with intellectual / developmental disabilities.
  • Administer medications.
  • Care for individuals with central lines.
  • Care for ventilator dependent individuals.
  • Participate in provider rounds.
  • Make recommendations to the medical team based on your assessments.
  • Receive training to help you feel confident in your abilities and skills.
  • Feel appreciated by the residents, families, staff and Administration.
  • Be mentored by nurses who love to share their knowledge with newcomers and new grads!
  • Be a valued member of a highly skilled nursing team!

    • Requirements :

  • Ohio or multistate Registered Nursing licensure required.
  • Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification within first 30 days in role.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license.
  • Available to work full-time, 36 hours per week. EOW / EOH required.
