How You Will Make An Impact

At ThredUp, we are processing unique secondhand clothing at unparalleled volumes and looking for an Industrial Engineer to support our rapidly growing operation. You will be designing, developing, modifying, and integrating computer-controlled electronic and mechanical systems for the automation of industrial tasks and enhancement of processing or production equipment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work at our Distribution Center in Mechanicsburg, PA and visit remote DCs in the network to collaborate with the Industrial Engineering team and review existing automation systems.

In This Role You'll Get To

• Project Management : Participate in the operational planning and implementation of multiple projects from deployment to closure.
• Process Optimization : Assist in identifying areas of improvement in production processes and help develop strategies to enhance efficiency.
• Workflow Analysis : Contribute to the analysis of current production workflows and assist in recommending changes to improve productivity.
• Data Analysis : Collect and analyze production data under the guidance of senior engineers, using basic statistical methods.
• Layout : Assist in the design and optimization of DC layouts and process.
• Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
