Tax Administrative Specialist
The Tax Administrative Specialist position is 100% in person in our South Portland, ME office.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and manage client engagement letters and tax documents, including scanning and organizing client organizers.
- Process client tax returns using platforms such as SafeSendReturns, Sharefile, Tax Caddy, and CCH Axcess.
- Log and route incoming client workpapers, create labels and folders, and assist with document pickup and return workflows.
- Assist with printing, mailing, scanning, and faxing, and reception tasks as needed.
- Provide administrative support to meet deadlines while fostering a collaborative and positive office environment.
Qualifications :
1+ year of administrative experience in a professional services settingRequires basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; knowledge of tax preparation software and Microsoft Teams is preferredRequires clear, concise verbal and written communication skills, and accurate grammar usageAbility to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively while balancing many projects simultaneouslyAbility to work flexibly under pressure and time deadlines, with great attention to detailAbility to work with a diverse group of clients and employees, and maintaining a positive attitude towards work, the firm, and the teamWipfli is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
