Air Quality Specialist - Modeling

A company is looking for a Project Air Quality Specialist - Modeling.

Key Responsibilities

Lead air quality modeling projects and tasks from initiation to completion

Provide technical leadership for air permit applications, compliance reporting, and regulatory analyses

Collaborate with team members to execute air quality projects and ensure quality control in modeling analyses

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemical, mechanical, environmental science, or a related field

Seven years of work experience in an industrial, consulting, or regulatory agency, with two years in a private sector environment

Expertise in air quality permitting, air dispersion modeling, and emission inventories

Working knowledge of local, state, and federal air quality regulations

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and US EPA modeling platforms such as AERMOD and CALPUFF
