Are you looking for an opportunity to put your skills to better use? Isch Insurance Agency-Farmers Insurance, in Lafayette, Indiana, is looking for a positive, enthusiastic individual to join our outstanding team as a Full-Time Insurance Sales / Service Representative .

You will be using your professional demeanor, willingness to learn, and excellent communication skills to service new and existing accounts to achieve sales goals and service standards.

Whether you have experience in the insurance industry or are looking to start down a new career path, this may be the place for you. If you have proven your customer service and communication skills in another industry and are ready to learn and grow, we can teach you everything you need to know to be successful with Isch Insurance Agency-Farmers Insurance.

Entry-level candidates will start at a base salary of $30,000 and you can make up to an additional $5,000+ in commission during your first year.

Are you an experienced sales or customer service representative? Awesome! We would love for you to bring your established skills to our Agency to help us better serve our customers while growing your career. Experienced candidates start at a $35,000 base salary and our top performers earn an average of $10,000+ per year in commission.

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls from customers, follow up to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve problems.
  • Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products and services.
  • Prospect for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.

Requirements

  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful and coachable.
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems, think critically, and make decisions quickly.
  • Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Must have, or be able to obtain an Indiana Property and Casualty Insurance license
