As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Power Broking business group within Aon Risk Solutions.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Boston, MA; New York, NY; Denver, CO; or Houston, TX office.

What the day will look like :

• Assist Sr. Brokers with marketing new and renewal business and assist with handling all aspects of the placements from initial market selection through policy delivery to client.
• Ensure that placements are handled correctly and on time.
• Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of Casualty Broking marketplace, products and services.
• Develop productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters and Aon local office teams.
• Assist with identifying and analyzing prospect and client exposures.
• Coordinate activities with other internal units as required to meet customer needs.
• Assist with key processes and internal activities to deliver client facing services.
• Obtain P&C broker license.

How this opportunity is different :

Position will include, but not limited to, preparation of renewal information, follow up / information tracking with carriers and clients, coverage / policy reviews, and other tasks deemed by senior placement specialist as critical to delivery of timely, high-quality service. Previous broking experience a plus. This role will require a willingness to develop knowledge of the power industry, casualty risks and exposures. This position will be used to develop placement skills within US Power with the potential for growth and advancement. Ultimate goal of position is becoming a power casualty placement specialist and able to handle complex casualty placements in the US and Global Markets.

Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Pay Transparency Laws : The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $75,000 - $85,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of New York, NY The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
