As the Process Project Manager, you will collaborate with teams and be responsible process optimization across the organization. This is a HYBRID position for Las Vegas, NV.
Responsibilities :
- Document, track and drive project objectives; Define scope of effort required to meet objectives; Define activities, sequences of events, dependencies and duration of tasks required to complete the project.
- Manage resources, materials, and budget committed to the project; track and approve all project related expenses including hours, materials and services.
- Assess and manage risk of strategic, technical, financial, political and / or business factors facing the project
- Provide direction and decision-making for problem resolution.
- Implement corporate operating procedures including communication, documentation, quality, and change control processes.
- Continuously coordinate all project matters and monitor daily : schedule / facilitate meetings; assign / delegate tasks as appropriate; follow up on action items as needed; communicate and escalate issues as they arise.
- Track and report the initiative status weekly, ensuring that internal and external factors jeopardizing the project are identified, issues are escalated, and solutions are recommended.
- Maintain activities in Shibumi to monitor process improvement and cost savings targets.
Qualifications and Competencies :
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Management, Business, Engineering or Information Technology) or equivalent experience.10+ years of project management experience with demonstrated success delivering projects to completion, including experience managing schedules, budgets, and scope.Experience with Manufacturing / Production and Supply Chain, Product Deployments as well as Change Management Strategies & Solutions are a plus.Must have intermediate to advanced proficiency using MS Project and MS Office Suite.Must have the ability to multi-task and simultaneously manage multiple projects at varying scales and levels of complexity.Must be a critical thinker and self-starter who can work alone or within groups at all levels (from Executives to Technical Engineers).Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented.Solutions and results-driven with a desire to continually improve efficiency and ability to think conceptually and act decisively.Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or experience with Agile methodology and Scrum environments is beneficial but not required.Must be able to pass a security background investigation.About Harvard Partners Trusted IT Advisors :
