WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a member of the Flight Support Team, the Aircraft Mechanic Assistant will assist in any area of Epic Flight Support's Repair Station as needed. This includes assisting lead mechanics in performing routine maintenance tasks, in addition to shop floor upkeep, organization andcleaning. May be tasked with duties such as cleaning and polishing interior and exterior aircraft surfaces. This includescleaning aircraft parts, equipment, or surfaces using brushes, clothes, cleaners, disinfectants and vacuums. - Assist experienced A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) Mechanics in troubleshooting and repairing aircraft by following oral or written instructions and detailed written procedures
- Remove, clean, inspect, or replace aircraft components following training and written procedures
- Ensure work area is maintained in a clean,safe & organized manner daily
- Comply with regulations and procedures such as, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Tool Control, and OSHA safety practices
- Clean inside and outside aircraft windows and fuselage
- Vacuum aircraft floors, Wipe down and clean surfaces
- Remove trash and clean aircraft cockpit
- Help in other areas as needed or assigned
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Previousautomotive or aircraft maintenanceexperienceis preferred.
