  • Location : Galion, OH (with floating to Ontario and Bucyrus campuses)\n
  • Unit : Intensive Care Unit (ICU)\n
  • Start Date : November 10, 2025\n
  • End Date : February 9, 2026\n
  • Contract Duration : 13 weeks\n
  • Shift : Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,880 - $2,020\n
  • Orientation : 16 hours\n
  • On Call : Must be able to arrive within 1 hour if called in\n
  • Facility : Smoke-Free Campus\n

    ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

    \n

    \n

  • Active Ohio or compact state RN license (no pending licenses)\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent, continuous ICU nursing experience\n
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required\n
  • Previous travel nursing experience required\n
  • Epic charting experience preferred\n
  • Willingness to float to all campuses (Ontario, Bucyrus) as needed\n
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions considered)\n
  • Completion of up to 8 hours of pre-start modules (non-billable)\n

    ICU Nurse Responsibilities

    \n

    \n

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit\n
  • Monitor and manage dysrhythmias and arterial lines\n
  • Provide central line care and management\n
  • Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips\n
  • Assist with BiPAP and CPAP management\n
  • Care for ventilated patients, including suctioning (ETT, NT)\n
  • Implement isolation precautions and proper use of PPE\n
  • Float to other campuses (Ontario, Bucyrus) as required\n
  • Accurately document patient care using the facility's charting system\n

    Note : No holiday or holiday week time-off requests will be approved for this assignment. Flexibility is required during the holiday season.
