Location : Bridgeton, New Jersey (08302) – South Jersey nursing jobs

Healthcare Setting : Correctional Facility

Assignment Type : Travel RN position

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 15, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Nursing Shift : 8-hour evening shifts (3 : 00 pm – 11 : 30 pm), two days per week, including every other weekend and rotating Mondays & Fridays

Guaranteed Hours : 16 hours weekly

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1810 - $1950

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey

BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (correctional nursing experience preferred)

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Strong assessment, triage, and clinical documentation skills

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to inmate patients, promoting and improving overall health in a correctional healthcare setting

Utilize the nursing process for triage and patient care, adhering to established clinical guidelines and regulatory standards

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for a diverse patient population

Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to address a wide range of health concerns, from minor ailments to complex medical conditions

Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and staff within the correctional facility
