Full Charge Bookkeeper - Food Distribution Industry
A fast-paced, established company in the food distribution sector is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting operations. This role requires strong experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), along with general bookkeeping responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable; high volume
Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts
Process invoices, payments, and collections accurately and timely
Owning the collections process; handling any misallocation discrepancies, managing client aging, etc.
Maintain general ledger and assist with month-end and year-end closings
Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Qualifications :
3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a distribution or inventory-based environment
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Solid understanding of AP / AR processes and general accounting principles
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong Excel skills and comfort with data entry and reporting
Customer service attitude
