PHYSICAL THERAPIST - Oceanside, CA

Under the general direction of the Clinic Director, the Physical Therapist evaluates therapy needs. Develops and implements Physical Therapy programs for assigned patients. Participates in related clinical activities. Perform initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations according to APTA standards of practice as well as state standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implement Plan of Treatment on a consistent schedule and adjust this schedule and plan according to patient progress.
• Document patient progress according to approved medical documentation and facility documentation procedures.
• Evaluate mobility, strength and current level of patient function, while setting goals to improve in these areas that are scaled to patient abilities and realistically attainable.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Sound judgment in applying academic knowledge and clinical experience
• Providing direct and indirect Physical Therapy patient care.
• Demonstrate integrity and discretion in all job-related matters

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Graduate of a school of Physical Therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association, or a foreign-trained equivalent. Licensed by the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance or accepted for licensure within six months from date of employment.
