Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Valiant Living, a premier mental health and addiction treatment center located in Greenwood Village, CO, is seeking an experienced, fully licensed Primary Therapist to join our Restorations Therapy Program. This role is essential to our multi-disciplinary clinical team and offers the opportunity to provide high-impact therapeutic services for individuals working through substance use disorders, process addictions, and co-occurring mental health challenges.

This position includes providing individual, couples, and family therapy, conducting assessments and intakes, facilitating group therapy, and participating in collaborative treatment planning.

• Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide individual therapy for assigned clients
• Facilitate process and psychoeducational group therapy sessions
• Conduct assessments for substance use, process disorders, and mental health (using DSM-5 and ASAM criteria)
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
• Offer psychoeducation and therapeutic support to participants and their families
• Participate in weekly clinical team meetings and case consultations
• Uphold confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
• Conduct crisis interventions as needed
• Rotate on-call responsibilities as part of the clinical team
• Maintain a non-judgmental, compassionate approach to care
• Collaborate effectively with all members of the multidisciplinary treatment team
• Adhere to professional boundaries and ethical standards in therapeutic relationships
• Qualifications and Requirements
• Masters degree in behavioral health, psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field
• Current Colorado license : LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LAC, or equivalent (required)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience working with addiction, trauma, and mental health populations
• Strong understanding of Family Systems work and trauma-informed modalities (preferred)
• Knowledge and experience using ASAM criteria and DSM-5 diagnostic tools
• Familiarity with Internal Family Systems (IFS) and attachment based theories is a plus
• Demonstrated cultural competence and commitment to equity and inclusion in treatment
• Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and professional integrity
