Shop Driver / Shipping Assistant / Inventory

Job summary :

As our driver, you will be responsible for picking up and dropping off product from customers and vendors in the Dayton and Cincinnati areas.

We have a Chevy Silverado pickup truck and 2 Mercedes sprinter vans to drive.

During down time will be helping in the shipping department.

Count and document quantities of incoming and outgoing parts and materials.

Package goods and assist the Purchasing Manager to prepare shipments.

Also would help in inventory, organize extra finished parts in our inventory room.

Box, label and document items .

Responsibilities :

• Loading and unloading : Drivers physically load and unload the vehicles at the shop and at customer / vendor locations.
• Driving and maintenance : They must operate their vehicle safely and perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Administrative tasks : Drivers are responsible for handling shipping paperwork, purchase orders and prints, tracking deliveries and gas receipts.
