Interventional Radiology Locum Tenens Opportunity Near Roseville, CA Job Details : We are currently seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Radiologist for a locum tenens position near Roseville, CA. This opportunity offers a chance to provide critical services in a General Acute Care Hospital that is stroke-certified but not a trauma-designated facility. The position is available ASAP and will continue on an ongoing basis, offering stability and flexibility for qualified candidates. Key Details : Start Date : ASAP - Ongoing Shift Type : Day shifts with night call after 4 : 30 PM Shift Hours : Day : 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM Night Call : Begins after 4 : 30 PM Weekend Requirements : Yes On Call Requirements : Yes Practice Setting : General Acute Care Hospital Support Staff : Radiology Nurses and Technicians Large Radiology group for overflow and after-hours reads Duties Include : Hospital coverage, including Interventional Radiology (IR) needs and stroke CTs IR Procedures : Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Nephrostomy tubes, Intra-abdominal abscess drainage, Chest tubes, Suprapubic catheters CT / US-guided biopsies (Thyroid, Lung, etc.) Barium studies and lumbar punctures Patients Per Day : Varies based on hospital needs Certification Requirements : Board Certification / Eligibility : Required in Radiology Required Certifications : ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) BLS (Basic Life Support) DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration registration) Licensure : Active California medical license required Preferred Experience : Procedural Skills : Expertise in Interventional Radiology procedures, including stroke CTs and other emergency department and ICU imaging studies EMR System : Experience with Cerner preferred This locum tenens position is perfect for an experienced Interventional Radiologist who is looking for a role in a hospital setting with both scheduled day shifts and on-call responsibilities.
