Job Title : Integration Specialist

Location : Salem, NH

Pay Rate : $24.00 / hour

Job Type : Full-Time | On-site (with occasional travel to client sites)

Start Date : ASAP

Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Integration Specialist to join our dynamic team in Salem, NH. This hands-on role involves configuring, testing, and installing IT hardware—including servers, network appliances, and switches—both in our Integration Lab and at client locations. The ideal candidate will have a background in hardware setup (racking and stacking), a solid understanding of networking components, and the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Build and configure customer systems to specifications.

Install and update firmware, OS, BIOS / UEFI, RAID, and out-of-band management settings.

  • Add and test additional hardware components as required.
  • Rack, cable, and label equipment in the lab and on client sites.
  • Perform and document OS installations and ensure functionality of peripherals and hardware.
  • Travel occasionally for client site installations, including overnight stays.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend support.

    • Respond to urgent requests within 15 minutes and non-urgent requests within 4 hours.

  • Keep up with evolving technologies and maintain certifications as needed.
  • Maintain professionalism and a customer-service-oriented attitude at all times.

    • Required Qualifications :

  • Proven background in hardware setup, including racking and stacking.
  • CompTIA A+ certification preferred (other relevant IT / networking certifications will be considered).
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work on-site and travel as required.

    • Preferred Education and Certifications :

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent networking / hardware certification preferred.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable with extended periods of standing or walking.
  • Capable of working in data center environments.
  • Good vision (color, close, distance, and peripheral) and manual dexterity required.
