Lumen is seeking a skilled, dynamic Lead Marketing Manager to provide partner marketing incubation and events / tradeshow management support for the new Connected Ecosystem organization. This role will focus primarily on partner events and tradeshow management and production, as well as incubating and growing Connected Ecosystem technology partner relationships from a marketing perspective.
The ideal candidate will have a strong, proven background in event management and production, partner marketing, technology industry, partner ecosystems, excellent project management skills, excellent writing and communications skills, and a track record of building and driving successful marketing plans for channel partners.
The Main Responsibilities
Plan and execute partner events and tradeshows.
Develop and implement marketing plans and programs from incubation to support and in alignment with Connected Ecosystem technology partners.
Excellent writing, communications and social media skills to create and send partner and event-related invitations and communications.
Building and accurately managing to event and tradeshow budgets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing peers, product management, sales, and partner teams, to ensure alignment and successful execution of events and marketing initiatives.
Develop and deliver marketing materials, including sales collateral, presentations, social media / digital content, to support partner marketing events and efforts.
Continuously optimize marketing strategies based on data-driven insights and feedback from partners, internal stakeholders, and customers.
Manage relationships with partners / trusted advisors and their respective marketing teams, ensuring they have the necessary marketing and event support to succeed.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure events and marketing strategies are innovative and effective.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
3-5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on partner marketing.
Strong experience in events planning, management, and production.
Experience in the technology or telecommunications industry.
Knowledge of partner ecosystems.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs and activities simultaneously.
Ability to build and accurately manage to event and tradeshow budgets.
Excellent writing, communications, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in marketing automation tools, AI, and CRM systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
Marketing or advanced education certifications
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP)
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges :
$82,969 - $110,625 in these states : AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY
$87,117 - $116,156 in these states : CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$91,266 - $121,688 in these states : AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
