Travel Nurse RN - Psych - $2,122 per week in Bayard, IA

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty : Psychiatric Nursing Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Nights Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Minimum of 12 months of prior experience in a psychiatric setting preferred. License : Current RN License Certifications : BLS required Must-Have : Ability to perform CIWA / COWS assessments. Experience with urine analysis and setting firm empathic boundaries. Description : This position is for an inpatient substance abuse treatment facility for individuals aged 18 and older. Nurse to patient ratio is one nurse on the night shift. During the hours of 7 PM to 11 PM, there are 2 to 3 behavioral health assistants on shift. From 11 PM to 7 AM, there is one behavioral health assistant on shift. There are no restraints used for voluntary patients. Administrative and medical staff are available on call at all times. Visiting hours are on Sundays from 1 PM to 4 PM. Dress code is scrubs. Orientation consists of 2 to 3 days of training on 12-hour shifts until staff feels comfortable. Must be available for weekdays and weekends as assigned.
